a very interesting new feature in the latest 1.3 alpha releases is the *spam control*. check out http://www.mozilla.org/mailnews/spam.html

It’s still way too heavy and slow though. I’ll stick with Chimera for browsing and use Apple’s mail app which has near perfect spam filtering.

spam control in moz is still in early stage development, but it seems to work fine (it marks the email with a ‘junk’ tag, but you have to ‘teach’ it a bit to do so).

strange lots of people using mac complain moz is slow. although even I think on windows and linux the program could be a bit faster and less heavy in memoryload, but i’m addicted to it because of the idea behind it and because it is open source. still, I can imagine native mac programs have their advantage :)
