Looks like popups are well and truly on their way out. The next version of Internet Explorer will feature a popup blocker.

I’ve just started using Mozilla cause of the pop up blocking and other funky stuff it does! I dont understand half of it (not being that way inclined) but what i’m using is cool.. mmm tabs!

well, being able to kill pop ups and other javascript related stuff like moving and resizing windows (check preferences - advanced - scripts&plugins) made me jump on mozilla almost 2 years ago. i mean IE is incredibly outdated ;)

The point of the post was that now IE is on the bandwagon, popups are really dead. Not that it’s a revolutionary technology.
